Mindfulness has been shown to alleviate stress, anxiety, depression and trauma responses. Mindfulness skills can help us to cope with distressing emotions through self-awareness and compassion.
Mindfulness is the practice of staying aware, with purpose in the present moment, without judgement. Mindfulness practice can be accomplished anywhere, through activities such as meditation, or through simply being in an aware state of a chosen activity.
Mindfulness Group is an 8-week group that provides education and training in Mindfulness practice, in a supportive group environment.
The Mindfulness Group will meet 1x per week for 1.5 hours, and will include the following:
MONDAYS at 12 PM .
All sessions will take place online via Zoom.
$45 per group to be paid in full prior to the first group session. Commitment to all 8 sessions is required to be a part of the group.
Anyone who is interested in joining the group can fill out a group contact request form below. Once a form is submitted, you will be contacted within 1 business day for a preliminary group screening to see if this group would be a good fit for you.
Kristen is the founder and owner of Mental Wholeness Psychotherapy. Kristen has been practicing and teaching Mindfulness skills for the past 6 years. Kristen is licensed to practice Psychotherapy in the state of New York. As a group therapy facilitator, Kristen will be your compassionate guide through the skills of Mindfulness.
