I’m proud to have been born and raised in Brooklyn, New York—a place that played a central role in shaping the person I’ve become, as a wife, a mother, and a therapist. My journey to this work wasn’t linear, and I’m grateful for that. The winding path I took offered me perspective, resilience, and insight—qualities I now bring into the therapeutic space.
Like many in this field, I often describe becoming a therapist as a calling. It wasn’t a single moment, but a gradual realization—shaped by my own life experiences and education—that led me to this work. I’ve faced my own challenges along the way, and those seasons of growth have deepened my capacity to connect with clients in an authentic and compassionate way.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Adelphi University, and hold a Master's Degree in Social Work from Touro University. I am a registered LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker); which is a licensed mental health therapist. I am licensed to practice in the states of New York and Florida.
My first priority is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space in order to gain a deep understanding of of my client’s needs. I recognize that everyone has their own unique qualities and strengths. Therefore, I use an integrative approach that incorporates methods from an array of treatment modalities.
My approach is rooted in the belief that people thrive when we care for the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. Drawing from the psychology of mental wholeness, I focus on helping individuals build sustainable well-being by exploring their thoughts, emotions, physical health, and inner values. It’s not just about symptom relief; it’s about meaningful, lasting change.
