Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counselling and psychotherapy treatment, I hope to be able to help you recover motivation, perspective, and joy that you once had in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances. Anxiety, panic, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger post traumatic events. I am determined to help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Losing a loved one is one of the most difficult experiences one can encounter. Life can often seem impossible after a tragic loss. Grief counseling can help provide you with coping tools and the support you need to begin healing.
My treatment approach derives from a Psychodynamic perspective, while incorporating Mindfulness, Solution-Focused and Cognitive-Behavioral techniques. What this essentially means, is that as your therapist, I will get to know the intricacies of your personality; your past and present feelings, motives, and decisions that make you who you are. By understanding the core of your belief systems, I will help you to learn to navigate them in order to change unwanted emotions or behavioral patterns.
Online sessions are held from the safety of your own home at a time that is convenient for you.
